Abstrak
The correctional services come at the end of the criminal justice system. The interdependent nature of law enforcement is demonstrated clearly by the relationsip between the courts and the correctional system. No person can be sent to a correctional service such as probation or to a correctional institution which does not pass through a court.
The goal of treatment in correctional institution is that the convict be exposed to experiences which will eradicate, or at least reduce measurably the influence of causal factors behind his criminal behavior.
The observer and inspector judgehas an important role in the correctional services at the end of the criminal justice system.
