This thesis is to investigate the effect of use the recitation method and vocabulary mastery on students’ skill at tenth the all of SMAN 10 Tangerang. The method used in this show is quantitative by survey which obtain the data scientifically. The writer collected the data by using questionnaire and written test. All the data collected were analyzed by means of statistic formula, namely biserial correlation, Flanagan, and double regression through variant analysis (Anova). The finding of this research is that the students used recitation method was 0.000 < 0.005, or F count = 27.265 > F table = 4.043, so the conclusion is that there is a difference in students’ writing ability between the students who were taught using recitation method from those using the conventional method. and there is a difference students who has low vocabulary with those who have high vocabulary, the score was that 0.000<0.005, or F count = 45.071 > F table = 4.043. The conclude, there was significant effect of vocabulary mastery on their writing skill. Interactive effect of the use of recitation method and vocabulary mastery toward students’ writing skill the score was 0,000<0,005 or F count = 20,153 > F table = 4,043 who is significant. This research can be concluded that (1) there is a significant effect of relationship between recitation method towards students’ writing skill, (2) there is significant effect of relationship between vocabulary mastery towards students’ writing skill, (3) there are significant effect of recitation method and vocabulary mastery towards students’ writing skill. In other words, there are multiple effects of relationship between recitation method and vocabulary mastery on students’ writing skill. Therefore, the teacher are expected to be able to teach writing skill holistically. They must be competent to teach students’ writing skill in English relating recitation method and their vocabulary
