This thesis is to investigate the relationship between the mastery of vocabulary,
Logical Thinking, and Students‟ Skills of Writing Argumentative English Texts on the
Twelfth Grade Students of Senior High Schools Persatuan Guru Republik Indonesia
The method used is descriptive and quantitative approach by survey which
obtained the data scientifically; the writer collected the data by using questionnaire and written test. All data collected were analyzed by means of statistic formula, namely: biserial correlation, Flanagan, and double regression through variant analysis (Anava). This research can be concluded that (1) there is significant relationship between: (1) students‟ mastery of vocabulary and their skills of writing argumentative texts in English, (2) students‟ logical thinking and their skills of writing argumentative texts in English, and (3) students‟ mastery of vocabulary, their logical thinking, and the their skill of writing texts in English.
