This study aims to find out: (1) interaction between reading strategies and learning
styles at SMA Parahyangan Tangerang. (2) for students reflective learning style, is
summarizing reading strategy better than self-questioning (3) for students
impulsive learning style, is summarizing reading strategy better than selfquestioning
strategy. This astudy is experimental study with 120 samples of 187.
By using random sampling. The research instrument of this study used reading
test and used anova 2 ways as its analysis. The resulf of this research were (1)
there was an interaction between reading strategies and learning styles as Fh 83.96
˃ Ft 3.92; (2) Summarizing reading strategies with reflective learning style is
better than self-questioning with impulsive learning style. From the data analysis
that Fh 37.20 ˃ Ft 3.92. (3) And self-questioning with impulsive learning style Fh
34.23 ˃ Ft 3.92 . From that result can be concluded that, summarizing strategy
and reflective learning style is better than self-questioning strategy and impulsive
learning style as 37.20 ˃ 34.23. Thus, students’ reading comprehension will be
better by using summarizing reading strategy with reflective learning style.
