the objective of this research is to investigate: (1) whether the combination of vocabulary mastery and interpersonal intelligence are significantly related to speaking skill; (2) whether there is a significant relationship between vocabulary mastery and speaking skill ini the presence of interpersonal intelligence; (3) wherther there is a significant relationship between interpersonal intelligence and speaking skill. Two types of research instruments were used to collect the data. They were tests and questionnaire. The oral test was used to measure the students' speaking skill, and the written test, which was in the form of multiple choice questions, was used to measure the students' vocabulary mastery. In addiction, questionnaire was used to measure the students' interpersonal intelligence. Furthermore, there were three kinds of data that had been collected, i. e. the scores of vocabulary mastery, the scores of interpersonal intelligence and the score of speaking skill. The data analyzed by multiple correlation and multiple regression.
