The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the usage of inquiry-based learning to the students who sit in bilingual science class and to investigate the implication to the improvement of students' English especially in reporting skill. It is a descriptive study and the data was collected in there months (July 16th to September 17 th 2010). The participants of this study were a science teacher and three students/ the researcher used three ways of collecting data; observation (recorded from classroom activities), questionnaire on the usage of inquiry-based learning, and interview on the performance of students 'inquiry projects. The collecting data were taken from both science teacher and the three students.
