Although peer feedback, in which students evaluate each other's papers, has been beneficial in many writing classrooms, however the benefits of blog-based peer feedback and face-to-face peer feedback, have not been thoroughly investigated in the field of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classrooms. The purpose of this research is to determine which is more beneficial to enhance students' essay writing: blog-based and face-to-face peer feedback. The research was conducted at the Senior High School of Labshool Kebayoran, South Jakarta. Two hundreds and fifteen students of tenth-grade participated in this research. The treatment groups posted their essays writing in the from of 'for and against' essay and peer feedback in their group blog (blog-based), while the comparison group wrote their essays on and peer feedback on a piece of paper (Face-to face. Essay writing samples collected at the beginning and end of the semester were used to evaluate which of two techniques used.
