This research was conducted in order to analyze the vocabulary teaching techniques used by EFL teachers at Primary Schools in Depok; Tunas Iblam Primary School, MI Muhammadiyah 1 Depok, and SDIT Al-Muhajirin Depok. The participants of this research were four EFL teachers. This research used a case study method with the triangulation instruments; classroom observations, teachers’ interviews and documents as technique of collecting data. The descriptive-qualitative is used to explain the condition of the phenomenon issue and find information that can be concluded. The findings revealed that the EFL teachers used repetition drill, translation and picture as the techniques in teaching vocabulary for young learner. The difficulties faced by the teacher in implementing the vocabulary teaching techniques were the limited times of English subject, insufficient school facilities, the students lack of motivation and interest.
