This study was aimed to investigate how Edmodo improved EFL students’ writing skill. The research subject was 10 students of class 8.1 of first semester at SMPN 12 Depok in Academic Year 2018 / 2019. This research was qualitative research which focused on Classroom Action Research (CAR). The data were collected from observation checklist, students’ writing analysis and by giving questionnaire to students after implementation of the actions. The finding of the research indicated: (1) the students could learn some learning strategies through Edmodo by implementing writing process, used brainstorming and writing editing checklist to revise and edit writing which is used to do peer-feedback. (2) The students’ writing weaknesses are grammar, content and organization, also Edmodo is feasible to overcome the weaknesses. (3) Learning by Edmodo is more interesting than studying in the classroom. Finally, the researcher suggested that there will other researchers conduct some research to use Edmodo to enhance students’ other language skills.
