The purpose of this study is to determine the strategies used by teachers in
overcoming students' problems in speaking English. Then To identify the factors that hinder students' fluency in speaking in class. To find the strategies carried out by the teacher in accordance with what is expected by students in the problems faced to improve the speaking skills of students majoring in accounting YEB Karawang. In this study the authors used a qualitative case study method. The use of this method is used to find out the causes of student problems in speaking English. Data collection techniques in this study used qualitative data. The data collection techniques are observation, interview, and questionnaire distribution techniques. From the data found, it can be seen that the use of teacher strategies and expectations for students' difficulties in speaking English.
