WhatsApp becomes a new tool in education that can be implemented in
teaching and learning process because it encourages teachers and students to use it on order to enhance knowledge. To explore the uses of and perspectives on WhatsApp, the researcher surveyed 200 teachers in cross level. The results indicated that teachers have the opportunity to learn during a professional development by the content focus as the creatures of effective teachers’ professional development, a positive impact does WhatsApp have on the participants’ practice and negative attitude from the using of WhatsApp. The researcher discusses implication of the findings for teachers in a twenty-first learning era
