The objective of the study was to find out the empirical answer of the
problems, this study focused on the students’ pronunciation problems, the drill
techniques’ implementation, and the students’ attention in AVA at Kumnamu
Junior High School Tangerang on VII grade students.
The action research which was conducted at the seventh grade Kumnamu
students was the part of the qualitative approach. The action research which was
conducted on this research by following two cycles consisting (1) planning, (2)
acting, (3) observing, and (4) reflecting in which purposed to improve EFL
students’ pronunciation. This method was done by the triangle data through
gathering information in cycle 1 and cycle 2. In the part of interviewing, this was
done triangle data through interviewing the students, the teachers, and
collaborator. Also, the triangle data was done during the process of analyzing data
gotten through combining the ideas from questioners, interviewing guide, and
lesson plan one to eight.
