This study mainly aimed at finding out the relationship between students’ learning strategies, motivation and their speaking achievement. Involved in this study were 127 students registered in the 4th semester of English Education Department, Faculty of Teacher Training and Educational Sciences, Bogor Ibn Khaldun University from 5 classes as the sample for this present study. This study revealed that the calculation of the correlation between the students’ level of motivation and their speaking achievement was 0.761 and the calculation of the correlation between their language learning strategies and their speaking achievement was 0.875. From those statistical data, it can be concluded that the correlation between the those variables, i.e language learning strategies employed by students in learning English speaking, motivation level and their English speaking skill, were very strong and positive. The result of the calculation showed that the pearson correlation (0.875) and (0.761) was higher than the level of significance set at the 0.01 level. The data from the statistical computation also proved that R (determination analysis) value was 0.889. This can be concluded that relationship among the variables being observed was very strong. Further, the data from the statistical computation demonstrated that Coefficient Determination = R2 x 100%= 79%. This can be concluded that the students’ level of motivation and language learning strategies employed by them in learning English speaking contribute 79% on their English speaking skill achievement. In other words, the students’ success in mastering English speaking skill is 79% related with their level of motivation and the use of language learning strategies while the rest 21% is related with other factors which are not investigated in this present research. Overall, the formula for the regression of this present study can be described as Ý = 5.468 + .067X1 + .098X2.
