This present study has been conducted to develop suitable iLearning English instructional materials for information technology students at STMIK Raharja based on the students and industry need. The participants involved were 42 students, 1 English lecturer coordinator, and 5 IT technicians from four companies. An interview has been performed to English lecturer coordinator to explore the textbook or prevailing instructional materials, the environment and the institution rules. Four kinds of questionnaire have been spread to students and IT technicians. First questionnaire was extended to know student’s ability, experience and motivation in learning English. Second questionnaire was extended to know industry need and to get suggestion from IT technicians who has experience in industry. The third and fourth questionnaire were aimed to know student’s response and to evaluate the developed instructional materials. The findings of this study revealed that IT students enjoyed learning English through conversation and group discussion which examine about IT and related topics to their daily activity. They also excited in practicing reading to correct their pronunciation, practicing speaking in front of the class and discussing their difficulty in doing their assignment. Therefore, they response that developed instructional materials improve their speaking, reading, listening and writing English skill. It also add their skill to face the work field.
