This research was conducted to find out the students’ and teachers’ perception of the role of pronunciation in the English foreign language at Senoir High School I Panggarangan Lebak-Banten. This research used is Qualitative Research method approach case Study. The researcher used Questionnaires and Interview as the instruments of this research. Thirthy two students and two teachers participants as participants in this research. This research revealed that the studentshad negative perception of their teachers roles of pronunciation in the EFL in classroom. The students still need a teacher to be a motivator, resource, feedback provider, empowerer, monitor of their learning and role model for various kinds of reasons related to their development in learning English pronunciation practice in classroom. The research also revealed that the students’ had a positive perception of rapport (student’ and teachers’ relation) the rapport was expected by the students’. In conclusion, the perception of the students’ and teachers’ could be an evaluation for the teachers’ to improve the teaching techniques and strategies. It is important to realize that the institition can use the students’ perception to know teachers’ quality or professionalism.
