The purpose of the research is to observe the effect of training and field experience in improving pronunciation of TVRI English news readers. The research was conducted at TVRI English News Department by field research with survey. The data was collected through test and questionnaire. The population was all TVRI English news readers by technique random sampling. There were three hypotheses in this research, positive effect between: 1) Training toward pronunciation of TVRI English news readers pronunciation, 2) Field working experience toward pronunciation of TVRI English News readers, 3) English news readers training toward field working experience.
