This study aims to find out: (1) To study the relationship between compensatory strategies and language anxiety toward students’ speaking skill simultaneously. (2) To investigate the relationship between compensatory strategies and students’ speaking skill. (3) To analyze the relationship between language anxiety and students’ speaking skill. This study is quantitative study with 30 samples of 90 By using random sampling. The research instrument of this study used questionaires and speaking test and analizing the data by using correlation analisis and regression. The resulf of this research were (1) there was a positive relationship between compensatory strategies and speaking skill Fobserved 4.75 > Ftable 4.20 with coeficient correlation ry1 = 0.385 (2) there was positive relationship between language anxiety and speaking skill. The correlation between both was ry2 = 0.362 (3) there were a positive relationship between compensatory strategies and language anxiety simultanously toward speaking skill Fh 3.86 > Ft 3.35 (0.05;2/27) with multiple correlation Ry.12 = 0.46. Thus, by knowing the usage of compensatory strategies may improve students’ speaking skill and decrease students’ language anxiety in speaking as well.
