This research aimed to investigate and analyze the applications of computer assisted instruction to enhance the ability of using grammar in writing of 92 Senior High School students. It was conducted to find the answer from the research question: (1) How was the applications of Computer Assisted Instruction to enhance the ability of using grammar in writing of 92 Senior High School students?, and (2) What were the factors to support Computer Assisted Instruction in enhancing the ability of using grammar in writing of 92 Senior High School students?. This research was done at 92 Senior High School by sellecting 36 students of science class x 3 from 11 November until 2 December 2014. It used qualitative research that has the data collection, the triangulation of data collection, observation, the documents of students’ learning activity, and the data information from the teacher and the students’ interview. This research showed that the applications of computer assisted instruction to enhance the ability of using grammar in students’ writing gave the good impact to the students. The students’ results were in learning activities by using Quipper School and Quiz Star that the students’ ability could increase in writing lesson about recount text and grammar structure grouply and individually. Moreover, the students also had done the daily test and got the highest percentage score 90 % in using Quipper School and 84 % in operating Quiz Star.
