This study aims to compare investigate the influence of round tables technique and guided writing techniques between the field dependent and field independent style students. The study was conducted in class X SMK Al Hikma Teluknaga. This research uses experimental research design. There are two classes in this study of experiments was used. The first class used the round table technique and the second class used guided writing technique. Each class consists of 36 students. The population of this research is all class SMK Al Hikma Teluknaga. Of the population, the sample was two classes with 72 students. Two-way ANOVA was performed to analyze the data by using SPSS. Data were analyzed using SPSS. This research method is correlative studies with two Annova data analysis techniques. The instruments used by researchers is Field Dependent and Field Independent questionnaire and a written test. From the study, it can be concluded that there is significant differences in student learning outcomes between students were taught using Guided Writing Techniques and those who were taught using Round Table techinique with p-value. This can be proved with sig. = 0.000 <0.05. Second, there is significant influence learning styles on student learning outcomes. In other words, that there are significant differences in student learning outcomes are taught using independent field force and field force dependent. This can be proved with sig. = 0.000 <0.05. Last, there is no significant interactions between were not significant learning (Guided Writing Technique and Round Table Technique) and learning styles (field independent and field force dependent) on students’ writing skill learning outcomes. This can be proved with sig. = 0.774 <0.05
