This thesis aims to investigate how the use of FH Pron.prac could facilitate practice in producing English sounds /v/ and /θ/ is, whether there is a significant difference before and after the students use the application, what the advantages and the drawback of using the app are, and what students‟ progress after using the app are. To finish this thesis, the researcher used two raters for examining the students‟ voice before and after they used the application, and the researcher utilized the triangulation data such as interview, observation, and the questionnaire for validating the data of qualitative. The methodology of this research was mix method which employed the explanatory design with the population of this research all college students at the first semester of Pronunciation Practice class in English department of Prof. DR. Hamka University. By using purposive cluster sampling, the researcher got 1 class (1D) as a sample from 4 classes (A, B.C and D). The researcher did the pre, the treatment and the post test to investigate the use of the application. Based on the pre test‟s and post test‟s result, the researcher grouped the respondents into three groups: high, middle, and low so that the researcher obtained total nine respondents to be analyzed their English background, the use of the app, and the weaknesses and the strengths of the app. There were two main findings of the research such as quantitative and qualitative findings. In quantitative findings, the researcher found there was not significant effectiveness of FH Pronprac after they use the application; however, in qualitative findings, the researcher analyzed that the failure of the improvement was because of the poor consistency between two raters and the different quantity and the quality of using the app among the respondents.
