Classroom management is one of the most important factors in young learner English teaching because children’s self control ablity is very poor and teaching children is quite different from teaching middle school students and adults. However, the study on classroom management strategies in young learner English teaching is still very limited to conduct. Thus, this thesis aims to investigate the classroom management strategies applied by the English teachers at one of private elementary school, to reveal the reasonsof using those strategies from the teachers and to find out the effects of classroom management strategies for the students. The participants of this research were two English teachers and twelve students. The English teachers have different age and experienced. The twelve students were chosen in purpose as the researcher saw that these students could give information about the strategies. The data were gainned by doing classroom observation, interviewing the teachers and students and from the questionnaire.
