The objectives of this research were to describe the implementation of brainstorming to improve students‟ speaking skill in procedure text and to identify the improvement of the students‟ speaking skill in procedure text. The subjects of this research were the eighth grade of students MTs. Plus As-Sa‟idah Selaawi Sukabumi in the academic year of 2015/2016. The number of the subject was 31 students. This research was classroom action research. The process of this research was conducted in three cycles. The data were collected by using observation checklist in order to know the events in the classroom during teaching learning process. Besides, she also used test to get the students‟ scores in order to know the improvement of students‟ skill in speaking from their score. The data were analyzed by using quantitative analysis. The result of the research shows that brainstorming used in teaching speaking procedure text with the eighth grade of students MTs. Plus As-Sa‟idah Selaawi Sukabumi in the academic year 2015/2016 can improve students speaking skill. This successfulness can be seen from the result of students‟ average score and good responses by students. The result after got all of the treatment using brainstorming, the students‟ average score increased in line with the increase of the students‟ achievement in each cycle. Before get the treatment students‟ average score was 5.71 and after giving treatment was 7.83, so it increased 2.12. The average score of students in the first cycle was 6.80, second cycle was 7.20, and the third cycle was 7.80.
