The data were obtained through the three instruments, such as interview with the introvert learners, parents and the English conversation teacher, observation during English conversation class, questionnaires. This study which was conducted at Saint John Primary School BSD – South Tangerang involved the three introvert learners, their mother and former English conversation teacher who were chosen purposively by the researcher. The findings of this study were as follows. First, the factors indicating the existence of introverts were lack of interaction with the peer, feeling insecure in every activity, ability to control the emotion, having soft spoken, and having special interest. Second, activity teacher can create to build the confidence of introvert learners was playing puppet. The last finding revealed that the teaching media give positive influence to the introvert learners. Moreover, as the time went on, they could build their confidence during English conversation class. They found puppet could raise their motivation and it led to their increase of self confidence in speaking. Based on the finding of the study, it is suggested that in order to increase the confidence of introvert learners in English conversation class, it needs teaching strategy as well as media in teaching learning process. It is hoped that puppet as the teaching media could give the feeling of secure for the introverts so that they could increase their confidence properly.
