The Objective of the study was to find the empirical evidence whether the content of the English summative test of the tenth grade students on SMK Negeri 56 Jakarta Utara in the first semester in 2017/2018 academic year was in line with the English syllabus content of 2013 Curriculum or not. In this study, the writer used comparative descriptive method. The writer compared a set of the English summative test content with a number of required items in the English syllabus content that used in teaching and learning activities. The instruments were in the checklists forms which are arranged based on materials and objectives in the English syllabus of the 2013 Curriculum. The materials and objectives of each language skills were identified and arranged into the lists. They were changed become the questions as instrument. from the analysis,the writer found that the content validity of the English summative test which was administered on SMK Negeri 56 Jakarta Utara was quite appropriate with the syllabus content of 2013Curriculum. The percentage of the materials in oral and reading text was 66%, the grammar was 24%, the vocabullary was 10%, the language features were 100%. Then, the indicator of reading skill was90%. Meanwhile, the indicators of listening, writing, and speaking were 0%. Therefore, the calculation of all percentages was 41.25%. Based on Arikunto;s scheme, it can be concluded that the content validity of the teacher-made English summative test for the tenth grade students in the first semester of SMKN 56 Jakarta Utara has been sufficient. The benefit of the study result was to help the teacher to arrange and make a good test.
