RENISSA IMANUDIN, 1101065079.The Reliability of the English Summative Test for the Tenth Grade Students of SMA Hutama Bekasi in the First Semester of the 2014/2015 Academic Year. The Study Program of English Education, The School of the Teacher Training and Education, The University of Muhammadiyah Prof. DR. Hamka, Jakarta, 2015. The key terms of this research are : Evaluation, summative test, parallel test and correlation analysis. The objective of the study is to get the empirical answer whether of the English summative test for the tenth grade students of SMA Hutama Bekasi in the first semester of the 2014/2015 academic year reliable or not. It is a non-experimental study referring to approach correlation analysis in the form of Pearson‘s Product Moment. The scope of the study is on the reliability of English Summative test for the tenth grade students of SMA Hutama Bekasi. This research is conducted in the first semester of the 2014/2015 academic year by using parallel test form technique. There are three characteristics of a good test; valid, reliable, and practical. In order to know the quality of the English Summative test especially on the reliability of a test, it is necessary to analyze the reliability level of a test. Based on the result of the statistical calculation shows that the data of the two variables have a normal distribution after testing by using chi square technique. The technique of data analysis that is used in this research is Pearson‘s Product Moment correlation analysis with the result of ro = 0,95. From the significant of 0.05, the (df) of 30 is 0.349 and ro is 0.95. The result of ro is higher than r-table (rt), in consequence H0 is rejected and Hi is accepted. It means that there are correlation between summative test and parallel test and the summative test is reliable.
