The Effectiveness of Animation Film For Developing Students’ Writing Narrative Text (An Experimental At 11th Grade Students of SMA IT Al-Halimiyah Pondok Kopi East Jakarta In 2013-2014 Academic Year). The Objective of This Research is to find out the effectiveness of animation film for developing students‟ writing narrative text At 11th Grade Students of SMA IT Al- Halimiyah Pondok Kopi East Jakarta In 2013-2014 Academic Year. The research was held at SMA IT Al-Haimiyah, which is located at Jl. Robusta Raya No. 31, Pondok Kopi, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta. Focusing on the eleventh grade students‟ as a sample. The research was held sixth meetings from July 15, 2013 until August 29, 2013. This included giving Pre-Test, Presenting Lesson, and Giving Post-Test. From the result of statistic calculation, the table of ttable in 0.95 level significant level. The df in this experiment is (28 + 28 – 2 = 54) so that the writer uses ttable 1.67. While the data analysis gives tobserved 5.15. It is higher than ttable (to>tt=5.15>1.67) it can be concluded that Hypothesis is rejected. It means that the alternative (Hi) which says that there is signifficant using animation film for developing students‟ writing narrative text is accepted. The research findings are expected to be useful for developing students‟ writing narrative text. In addition, it gives information to the teachers to know the new media in order to make teaching and learning process better.
