 Abstrak
Colorectal cancer (colo-rectal carcinoma) or better known as colon cancer is a malignant tumor that occurs in the colon or rectum. Nutritional status is an expression of a state of equilibrium in the form of specific variables, or the embodiment of nutriture in the form of specific variables or can be defined as a result of food consumption and use of nutrients. Nutritional status in cancer patients can be affected by various factors, such as tumor growth and medical treatment that followed, such as surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and transplantation. These factors have side effects such as nausea, vomiting, mouth ulcers, and inflammation of the digestive causes a decrease in food intake and absorption of nutrients so that it will affect the nutritional status. This study aims to look at the relationship of energy intake, macro nutrients, calcium, and fiber to the nutritional status of patients with colorectal cancer at the Dharmais Cancer Hospital 2016. In this study, the methodology which used is approach analytic study with cross sectional study design. Sampling technique which used is Purposive Sampling, data collection was done by interviews and measurements. Total sample entirely is 30 samples. Technique data analysis using Chi-Square test. Based on this research, it is known that there is no relationship intake of energy, macro nutrients, calcium, and fiber to the nutritional status of patients with colorectal cancer obtained p-value >0.05.
