Oriantalism is the study of East culture. When the study of orientalism appears in the intellectual space, it has become knowledge as power to conquer the others. Occidentalism is the study of west culture, when it comes as the post-modernist movement, the position from east only to have equal of humanity with the west. It is the inter-textuality and practical force in facing west narrative. It is significant to give this illustration in order to build understanding between the west and east culture. Both of them have weakness and strength to fulfill each other.
