Interpretation of Al-Quran represents certain epoch which is not free of the intellectual, cultural background, and the tendency its interpreter. Interpretation yielded by an epoch which not always suited for fulfilling requirement of Islamic community now because they live with different intellectual and cultural background. This article explains the development idea of some exegesis patterns in order to complete Department of Religious Affairs which has been written 25 year. Forwards, this interpretation and translation need to be developed by theological and philosophical pattern in the spirit of integrating rational and traditional approach.
