The research was conducted at Universitas Negeri Jakarta at the program of Ilmu Agama Islam. The aim of this research is to find out whether using PQRST method influences on the result of students reading comprehension. The method of this research used was question experimental with the research control group post - test only design. The result of this study revealed that there is significance influence of using PQRST method on the result of students reading comprehension. It means that using the PQRST method is more effective to increase students comprehension in reading compare to use the conventional method. Based on this study, its hope that this method would be accepted as the alternative method to improve the students comprehending in reading.
