 Abstrak
The research was implemented at the Elementary school in Matraman Subdistrict Area of East Jakarta. Generally, this research has a purpose to describe the successful of the Application of Quality Improvement Management Based on School at the Elementary School. Specifically, this research has the purpose (1) finding information about the Application of QIMBS, (2) finding information about all who involved in the implementation of QIMBS, (3) finding information about effort which has done by the school in the framework of QIMBS in the Elementary School in Matraman Subdistrict Area of East Jakarta. The method of this research used the normative educative and administrative research, than supported by the data result from informant by using qualitativemethod. The findings: The Application of Quality Imprvement Management Based on School Concept, still new in the socialization standard. But whatever, part of school could implement it and parts f it couldn't implement it yet, the school authority formulated, that the curriculum was still far from what we wish, but QIMBS concepts which has been implemented, they are: curriculum formula that based of graduatec competention , determining the learning equipment, taking of the wisdom with the public and the government, using the supplied human resources efficiently, receiving the college students, using of measurement and evaluation technical, school promotion, and students retribution of registration decided by government and school committee. In the application of public QIMBS, government, and the parents or school committee, join to the responsible, but not in all problems that the public can included in it. But in certain problems, only the school committee that determine it. The schools strive the human resources improvement by the scientific activity and equiping the school with the infrastructure.
