Concentration and distribution of natural radionuclides (238 U, 232 Th, 226 Ra dan 40 K) and anthropogenic 137 Cs have been analyzed in soil samples from Taman Nasional Gunung Leuser (TNGL) using gamma spectrometry. Soil sample were collected from 25 locations and the depth of 20 cm using core sampler of 7.8 cm diameter. The mean activities of 238 U, 232 Th, 226 Ra, 40 K and 137 Cs are (57,99+6,31), (55,08,+4,16), (34,59+3,18), (260,79+46,45) and (2,23+0,31) Bq/kg, respectively, and the dose rate is 72,49 nGrey/hour.
