The objective of the study is to get the empirical evidence to the answer of the problem statement. It is whether The English Summative Test For The Seventh Grade Students On The Second Semester Of SMP Negeri 3 Tangerang 2006/2007 Academic Year is reliable or not. In estimating the reliability, the writer used parallel form technique. The first test was June 11th, 2007 and the second test on July 23rd, 2007. In collecting the data, the writer chose the seventh grade students as the population and took 40 students as a sample. The method of this research is quantitative and kind of this research is correlation. The writer implemented Pearson?s Product Moment ?PPM? formula for analyzing data. The result is that rt = 0.325 and ra = 0.97. Because ra > rt, it means that there is a significant correlation between English Summative test score made by Depdiknas and teacher made test scores or it can be said the English summative test for the seventh grade students on the second semester of SMP Negeri 3 Tangerang 2006/2007 academic year is reliable.
