This study was aimed to find out The Reliability of the English Summative Test For the Seventh Grade Students on the Second Semester of SMPN 264 West Jakarta in the 2008/2009 Academic Year. The writer used parallel form technique in estimate the reliability. This research was held in June 19th 2009 for the first test and the second test was July 13th 2009 in SMPN 264 West Jakarta. The objects of the research were English summative test. The writer used the quantitative analysis data. The writer employed Pearson?s Product Moment Correlation for analyzing data.The writer analyzed and mapped both of the tests. The result of English Summative Test is that r observed = 0.98 with the signification standard 0.05, and r table = 0.312. Because ro=0.98 > rt=0.312, It can be concluded that English Summative Test made by Rayon for the Seventh grade students of SMPN 264 Jakarta in the Second Semester of the 2008/2009 academic year is reliable.The result of this research is hoped to be useful to the school, students, and the writer herself, to increase her knowledge.
