Mission in Islam comprises all the dimensions of human beings life such as education, economics, health, social culture as well as politics. Muhammadiyah, as an Islamic and reformist movement with a mission that is consistently maintained and determined by its community, has the roles to contribute its thoughts and Islamic cultural vales to the society. This article will discuss the significant contributions of this modernist and reformist movement in education and culture.
