Abstrak
The objective of the study is to know whether or not the test items of the English summative test for seventh grade students of the second semester at SMP N 110 South Jakarta is in line with the School-Based-Curriculum. The method of this study is descriptive comparative analysis to analyze and compare the content of the English summative test to the content of the School-Based-Curriculum. This writing will be focused on the analysis in comparing the content of the English summative test and the School-Based-Curriculum specifically in terms of the indicators of functional skills of listening skills, the indicators of interpersonal text of speaking skills, the indicators of types text of reading skills and the indicators of instructional objective of writing skills. The result of analysis between the test and the content of curriculum is: the percentage of the functional skills of listening skills, the interpersonal text of speaking skills and the instructional objectives of writing skill is 0%, the percentage of the types of reading text is 36.36% and the calculation of all percentages is 9.09%. It means that the English summative test for the first year pupils at SMP N 110 South Jakarta 2007/2008 has very poor content validity.
